To be honest it does not happen that often…
I have posted two articles this week on the Smart Thinking cyber security news feed, about the security and privacy updates to the latest release of Windows 11:
It is running the room fan and my i7 Dell XPS – full charge to 5% about 7 hours.

This is not for backpacking but rather for when we have the car with us. I am also expecting a 100w folding portable solar panel to go with it.
It is a ALLPOWERS Portable Power Station 300W / 288Wh, with plenty of options for plugging in gadgets, including 240v three pin plug. It can even be charged from the car.

Try this series of posts I wrote for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend – Technology and the Platinum Jubilee.
I have started writing for the blog on the training site CyberAwake This will be different content to Smart Thinking and Octagon.
Today the first post is published:

I have written articles for both Cyberawake and Octagon today – but outside on the balcony in the good weather.
Of course the writing was helped by coffee – today iced coffee made in a Turkish style with ginger and little dark brown sugar.
And the sunset from the same balcony.
…when it comes to the weather in Lincoln – I want the Roman one, not the President ones.
