Newark for lunch
We went out today to celebrate Jeremy getting into Heriot Watt university – pizza in Newark as Lincoln was too crowded.

I have spent several hours today out picking, raspberries, blackberries and plums from various gardens. If all goes to plan Bank Holiday Monday is jam making day.
Harwich
This evening I went down to Harwich to pick Jeremy and Callum up at the end of their month of Inter-railing in Europe.
The Count
Having been working in Chelmsford today, I am now at the count for the council by-election in North Hykeham Mill Ward. Diana is standing as a candidate.
White Cliffs of Dover
Having left Lincoln at 2am this morning, I have dropped Jeremy and his friend Callum off at Dover Ferry Passenger Terminal for the start of their one month Inter Rail adventure across Europe.
