Next year – Wales
This is what I am doing for today and tomorrow.
I’ll wait before going back out to my cabin.
I wrote this for World Password Day on the Octagon Technology blog:
We are making training videos today – here is Michael, who is the director, working out in the sunshine.
As it was a nice day I packed my lunch and went out. I also had to give the battery in the car a run and get more fuel – so en route I stopped in a good lay-by with access to some footpaths.
I packed my backpacking cooking gear so I heated water and made fresh ground coffee. The rest of lunch was a hot cross bun and a banana. Once that was finished I headed off for a mile or two across the fields.
The weather was so nice that when I got back to the car, I made some tea and joined my next Teams meeting whilst sitting out in the sun.

I had an article to write for Octagon today. The weather was good so rather than sit in the office and write it I went for a walk to a suitable rock where I knew I could sit and work.
Unfortunately the clouds came over and it eventually rained. At least I still had coffee.
I got the article done as well.
I wrote this blog for Octagon at the beginning of December:
Today these came for use in the office.
…and my nephew gave me this for Christmas.
The Jeremy and Michael got me a titanium cafetière – for the office – that is also a bush pot for camping. I wish I had added this to the blog – well I will be writing a Geek Dad Father’s Day list later this year I guess I have the first entry.
