Sawyer Mini Water Filter
The seal on my water filter bottle failed so I have replaced it with this lighter weight model. The set came with a bottle for the untreated water, a direct use straw and a cleaning kit.
It will also fit onto the roll up water bottles I already own and commercial drink bottles with a standard 28mm thread.

It is not raining this morning so it is camp coffee, outside, whilst reading my book and waiting for the boys to wake up.
We moved on from the timeshare in Aviemore this morning to camping in Dingwall, via Inverness

We were looking for Pokemon and Geocaches and both of these took us to some out if the way places in the city we had not seen before.
This pillar are the remaining ruins of a Dominican Friary that was founded by Alexander II in 1233.

Set up and we have already had a cup of tea. The weather yesterday was not great, it rained overnight and was foggy this morning – now it is great again, in the low twenties.

To avoid the Newcastle A1 roadworks I used the A68 today – with a lunchtime stop in Jedburgh.
I managed to get to Scotch Corner with the MX-5 top down before some light rain forced me to pull over and put the roof up. However after leaving Jedburgh it was down again.
I got to the campsite by mid-afternoon and there was no more rain but I was glad I packed the quilted fleece liner for my M65 jacket as it was cool sitting out having my tea. For tonight I have my Helly Hansen base layer, a fleece liner and my down sleeping bag. I am not expecting to get cold.
