This shot was taken using Camera+ and then cropped and processed using Photogene2. I used a custom filter I created that increases the colour saturation and decreases the contrast in the shot.

Taken using Camera+ (to accurately focus and expose on the ladybird) and then cropped with Photogene2.
Last night I watched Orbit on the BBC – in which they flew a set of digital cameras up to the edge of space using a helium balloon. A much better use of this technology, of course, is to fly a Lego space shuttle to the edge of space!
Jeremy thinks this is much more impressive.
This filter is nearly the same as the one I use to produce high contrast mono images except, I do not include a greyscale step. It is very effective when used on sunset images – here I am using it on Lincoln City’s football field.
The image was taken using the latest version of Camera+ and post processed with Photogene2.
This photo was taken using Camera+ and post processed using Photogene2. The filter I used in Photogene2 is one I developed myself to create a high contrast mono image – similar in effect to printing a mono negative onto a high grade paper.

It was a bright sunny day for today’s walk.
This shot was taken using Pro HDR so I could shoot into the sun and still get an image of the light coming through the leaves. I cropped the shot using Photogene2 whilst I was walking along.
The blossom shot was made using Camera+, I focused on and exposed for the white petals. Once home I sorted through the multiple option shots I had taken to find the best composition that was sharp and then used Photogene2 to crop the shot to emphasise the blossom.
One of the original frames for comparison.

The above shot was made with Pro HDR. Before saving the image, by using the sliders in the software, I added a little more warmth to increase the colour and then darkened it to add drama to the clouds.
