We have a slight detour to our journey home – we are going to Lincoln via Manchester Airport to pick up Richard’s daughter.
So we cut across Scotland to the Lake District and the M6.
Here is where we stopped for a tea break.
But we had to move because of the midges – and here is Richard doing the midge dance.
We stopped off at Pooley Bridge in the Lakes for dinner.

I am in Scotland for the UK WordPress conference (details here on at Octagon Technology) – the programme starts at 9am and as we are going to use the Park and Ride into Edinburgh it is an early start to the day.
There will of course be an opportunity for some walking and photography whilst we are here.

I was just browsing WordPress.com and looking at an article explaining how you cannot take good photographs if you are over 40 – I paraphrase but that was the writers point of view, when I came across this article by Naomi Wolf – How I Was Arrested at Occupy Wall Street.
