Even though the weather was really foggy we parked up in Falmouth and walked out into Pendennis Point.
We found a great spot for lunch out on the tip of the point. Whilst eating our Cornish pasties we were listening to the various fog horns sounding through the thick fog.

It was an unpromising, wet start to the day, which caused us to go out and get a cooked breakfast – pancakes, sausage, syrup and tea.
In between the showers we made our way down to Land’s End where the weather cleared and we got in several miles walking along the cliff tops.
The tops of some of the hills were just pushing through the mist. We pulled over and I got this shot in the rain, with my iphone in a waterproof case.

I used the built in camera app for the basic shot and then used the Camera+ clarify filter to bring out the details.
