For many years the boys and I have shared a Lego Star Wars advent calendar – however when we looked at the 2022 Lego Star Wars calendar we thought it was uninspiring, lacked originality and was not worth the money. So we switched to Lego’s Guardians of the Galaxy advent calendar.
Day 1 got off to a strong start – Peter Quill, Star-Lord complete with twin blasters and rocket shoes – you even get a third blaster.

For years, probably since Jeremy was 8, Jeremy, Michael and me have shared Star Wars Lego advent calendars.
But when we looked at this year’s Lego Star Wars calendar offering we were struck by boredom. Repeat models, plugs for TV shows and Christmas jumpers are not a way to sell £30 advent calendars!
