Another Cornish Sunset

Another Cornish sunset from the Camping and Caravan Club site at Veryan – and another picture of my tent.

It is now a very nice evening, it is dark, and there is no wind and it is not cold either. We are sitting outside having made some hot drinks, Jeremy is reading and I am blogging with a candle for extra light.

Diana is out this evening at Business Club promoting Octagon’s Disaster Recovery Seminar whilst we watch the sunset.

Plenty of autumn colours and a brooding sky.

Seven swans a-swimming – and before the comments are made, I know it is a duck, look over the wall!

We decide to get lunch in a cafe as the weather was showery, I had a “half” Full English and Jeremy had a pasty – I think they must have much bigger plates for the “full” breakfast. Next time I’ll order the soup with half a sandwich.

Veryan Campsite pt3

It rained hard overnight – no leaks in either tent, but lots of flapping nylon and loud, beating rain. I had tea in my tent early, as I forgot to turn off the 6.30am work alarm but by the time Jeremy was getting up the sun had come out and we had breakfast outside.

We then went for a walk along the coast at Gerrans Bay, to find somewhere to have lunch.
