From this recipe – because of the amount of frozen bread ends Amelia and I had, we increased the quanties by 50%.
Other changes we made, all sultanas and no mixed peel, but extra 100g of sultanas, and all the spice plus 1/2 tbls of ginger.

It was a late breakfast probably more like lunch.
A bacon sandwich should be made with white bread – but this is my own homemade wholemeal bread so I will make an exception. Smoked bacon. Ketchup but brown sauce sauce if you insist. Tea not coffee.
Baking day
Diana and I have the day off today. So I baked some wholemeal cashew and saltana bread in my bread maker – I am not sure why the shape is so odd – and oat and sultana cookies.
