Walking to Potterhanworth Woods

It was a bright sunny day for today’s walk.

This shot was taken using Pro HDR so I could shoot into the sun and still get an image of the light coming through the leaves. I cropped the shot using Photogene2 whilst I was walking along.

The blossom shot was made using Camera+, I focused on and exposed for the white petals. Once home I sorted through the multiple option shots I had taken to find the best composition that was sharp and then used Photogene2 to crop the shot to emphasise the blossom.

The above shot was made with Pro HDR. Before saving the image, by using the sliders in the software, I added a little more warmth to increase the colour and then darkened it to add drama to the clouds.

Walk back to Branston

I had to go in today and carry out more work on this new phone system so the phone engineers can complete their jobs on Monday morning. I took my backpack, lunch and boots with and once I was finished I walked back to Branston from the city centre along the Witham.

New Phone System

So today’s plan was simple, assist the phone company to install an IP phone system on to a network we support. The only flaw was that some third party software they use for voice recording, failed to install correctly onto the Exchange server and their tech support were not that helpful so I have got to sort it out. That is an after hours job.

So today’s photo is just a pile of boxes – containing the shiny new phones.
