As followed the route along the Loch there was a convenient picnic area for a tea break.
I carry the meths bottle in an outside mesh pocket, on my rucksack, which meant I did struggle to light the meths as it was very cold.
Here is the view from my cafe – menu, fresh hot tea with custard creams.

The overnight snow continued during the morning as sleet so I went for a short walk along Loch Tay and around Kenmore.
Swisscom Wifi
There is wifi in the cottage, supplied by Swisscom – I have tried to use the service at another Diamond Resort see here. I should have not bothered, it was broken. The big difference here at the Kenmore Club was the way the staff dealt with it – I just got my money back, whilst the site staff tried to solve the problem.

I went for a short walk around the village today – to try out my iPhone 5 camera and to find a photo for today.
I managed to make at least one image every day during 2012 and I thought I would try something different for 2013, however it looks like I am hooked on getting something “on film” everyday – so it looks like I will try and do it again this year.

We had a plan today to walk a couple of miles along the Viking Way and take some photographs. However the weather fixed those plans.
So as with other walking trips it included coffee and cakes.
We did get out and walk a little around the start of the Viking Way.
…and a wet group shot!
We went out to watch the sunset – and also saw an RAF Sea King helicopter, which came in really close to us and hovered.
