Walking in Ostler’s Plantation – Woodhall Spa

I have the day off today (although I have a list of phone calls and emails I have to get through) – so I took the opportunity to go walking in the woods around Woodhall Spa and do the work from there. No point being a business that uses the Cloud and then being stuck in the office.

The weather is great for walking and the low November sun is doing some great things with the shadows and the autumn leaves.

I started this post, this morning but I have finished it at home as I was struggling with getting an internet connection.

I saw the cobwebs, in the photo above, early in the morning, the meadow was covered with them, all covered in dew.

I had taken lunch with me, and found a quiet place just off the path with a suitable stump to sit on. The ground, leaves and pine needles were very wet but I had taken my poncho with me which made a good seat.

Pendennis Point Falmouth

The weather was great today – we had breakfast outside, got a good days walking in on Pendennis Point, Falmouth, had a cream tea in Tresillian, sitting in their garden and ended up cooking and eating our evening meal outside. The downside to all this sunshine is that there is not a cloud in the sky as the sun is going so it looks like it will be a cold night.

A grey day in Newquay

It may have been raining but Jeremy and I had a great day in Newquay walking along the cliff tops. As with all good walking days it included an English Breakfast – this one was the “Small” from Donna’s Cafe by the station.

honestly she listed this on her menu as the “Small All Day Breakfast”

We finished off the day watching a couple videos in the car, eating salami, crackers, tinned pears, homemade Cornish chocolate fudge and drinking Chai tea – but not all at once.
