A walk on a grey day
The Craigellachie National Nature Reserve is a short walk from the house here in Aviemore and is an excellent place for a walk on a cold damp day.

Walking today
I walked to Lauder village today, on a very roundabout route, via Oxton and a disused railway, to avoid the main road. It included a detour of several kilometers as a farmer does not allow access over a couple of hundred meters of their land on the old railway line.
Edinburgh Castle
Having done the initial work I needed to do at University, I went for a very wet walk into the City centre.
