Speyside Way
Between the snow showers and the sunshine I did couple of miles along the Speyside Way.
This shot is possible using Pro HDR – shooting straight into the sun.

Today was not a good day for walking – so other than going into Aviemore for a coffee, I have watched Stargate and Cowboy Bebop videos and the snow through the patio windows.
Craigellachie National Nature Reserve is very close to Scandinavian Village, so with poor light and snow forecast for later in the day it is a good place for a short walk. As it was poor light I did not climb to the higher areas but stayed in the forest.
It was not so cold – so I found somewhere suitable, over looking the loch, to make some tea.

To beat the weather I got to Scandinavian Village before check in, so leaving my car at the centre I went for a walk near Aviemore.
To get away quickly this morning I had a pot of tea for breakfast whilst loading the car – so here is the required cook breakfast photograph – all good trips include a full English but in this case it is a full Scottish!
After checking out this morning I walked down to the Loch side and shot this using the panorama function on the Apple camera app.
I headed off after this to drive from Kenmore to Aviemore – the road conditions were interesting, there was a car that skidded off into a ditch, and it snowed hard, until I was almost at the A9 where things became a lot easier.

I am listening to the BBC TV weather as I write this – he has said there is not much snow around at the moment!
He was though very enthusiastic about snow heading for London tomorrow!
