Breakfast in bed
Hayfield Camping and Caravan Club Site
Rather than go to the Lake District we decided to head for the Peak District and Hayfield.
It was raining when we put the tents up but a short, after dinner, walk to the Sportsman Inn solved that problem.
I have gone camping!
Richard and I had planned to go to the Lake District this weekend – we had even thought about wild camping up around Honister, but have now decided to camp in the Peak District. Richard needed some food so we stopped at Tesco where this news paper was on sale!

Dunbar
It is time to go home – but there was time for a walk around Dunbar Harbour…
…and to get some breakfast.
Sunset from the campsite
Dunbar Camping and Caravan Club site is a great place for sunsets – and tonight is no exception.

Travel Day
On my way to Dunbar
I left the Skye campsite just after 7am having taken less than 15 minutes to pack up – the rain helped me hurry!
Again I decided to stop along the road somewhere for breakfast – with a view.
more low clouds!

Above is where I stopped for lunch
When I got to Dunbar it was warm and sunny – so I have a chance that my tent and gear will dry out. I still pitched away from the view as experience on this site says the wind blows in from the sea.
