We are going to spend the day in York before heading home tonight.
I got out early to walk the city walls to score some geocaches before things got too busy.
The wall walk is a great way to see the city, but you do need a head for heights and a sure foot when passing on coming pedestrians on the narrow sections with no railings!
Not a photograph of a steam train.
I am going to spend the day at the museum, whilst Diana is at her conference.
Quick tip: I do not recommend the coffee in the museum, very slow service and then the coffee was only warm. Very poor.

I got a train into Inverness today, for some present shopping and geocaching.
One of the geocaches led me to a landmark I’d not seen before – The General’s Well – even though we regularly walk this footpath.
I stopped off on the way to Aviemore to buy Jeremy lunch. The pub we like, The Footlights, has had yet another make over!
