It was an early start today to pack up and head home.
It rained most of the night and then stopped at about 5am and started to freeze. The tents went away clean but wet, we got cold packing and almost completed the packing before the first shower came.

We had a short walk around St Austell, this morning, to stock up on some supplies and to go to the bank, before heading out to the coast.

This is a small port town near to St Austell where they used to ship china clay from and it is still a working harbour today. By the time Jeremy and I had finished our lunch it had started to rain – so I had to use the waterproof pouch to protect my iPhone whilst taking the pictures. The rain also shortened our planned walk.
This was the view whilst I was drinking my tea this morning.

And then there was another rainbow. Taken on my iPhone 4 using the Pano app, just before the hail started.

Another night of rain but again it stopped in time for me to have my breakfast outside in the sunshine.
With the showers there was a rainbow over the tents whilst I was having coffee.

Once Jeremy was up we decided to spend a wet day in Truro, however the car parks were full – so we we t to Falmouth.
We found an excellent old fashioned department store, to shelter in whilst the rain was at its heaviest. Trago stocked everything, it had electric guitars, to kitchen stuff, furniture to shower stalls, to Christmas stuff to cosmetics – it really defies description. We bought some drysacks for backpacking, some beakers with snap on lids that fit neatly inside our Ti mugs and a small zippered pouch for tea bags, sugar etc.
With the day getting darker and wetter we decided to go back to the campsite for a triple bill of DVDs.
